At least 1 billion people have a vision impairment that could have been prevented or is yet to be addressed.
The number of people with vision loss will rise from 1.1 billion to 1.7 billion people by 2050, mainly due to population growth and population ageing.
These numbers are increasing with every passing day, and the world of hundreds and thousands is becoming dark forever. On World Sight Day, Sightsavers seeks to raise awareness on eye health for those who don't have easy access to vision care.
Like you love your eyes, let others love their eyesight too. Take part in this social activity to spread awareness on eye health.
